3D models- Me and My Dog
I have decided I will not be going ahead with this project as I am not so confident in my 3D skills and think going ahead with it will not result in my best work.
Blind box series based on an owner and their dog in different scenarios.
Concept from me losing my dog last year and trying to find a way to get over it.

The Outlaws Satchel
A project inspired by my love for the Wild West period and making ephemera.
Women of the West- Cathy Luchetti and Carol Olwell.
A very informative read provided by my grandparents. Very good photography showcased, making it a helpful reference. Great information about women, particularly minority women, in the West.

Wanted poster:
Used the letterpress facilities for print the alphabet that I can use for this project, but the main purpose is to use it to create a wanted poster. There was a problem with my typeface being the wrong height, so I used tape to try and even them out, but we still couldnt get it to work. I was told I can come back at a later date to redo it once the type gets sorted, but the date was too far away from the deadline, so if I carry this project forward, I will redo my letterpress. I do quite enjoy the 'rusticness' of the printing, and do think it might come in handy to give a weathered effect, so it mightve worked out better this way.

Evaluation
I’m satisfied with the research and prep work I have completed in this module, I feel it is a sufficient amount to make the next module run smoothly, once I decide which project to take forward.
I am grateful that I had such easy access to sources of research (the Mary Shelley Museum, and my grandparents experience in the West), and I am planning to visit the American museum & Gardens if I carry the Outlaw project into the next module.
For my Mary Shelley comic, I have been going back and forth on what style I want to use. As I naturally gravitate to the more ‘perfectionist’ style, I wanted to try and loosen up, so my work looked more sketchy and ‘messy’- inkier? I think I finally got there in the end, but I’m still not confident in making it cohesive, so the first thing I will do one the next module is choosing the style and redraw the pages I have done in it. I still want to draw it on Procreate, I just need to keep trialling different brushes, but I have eventually found some that I am happy with.
I’ve found that I really enjoy the research aspects of my projects, in the past too, and I like to fully absorb myself into what I’m studying. I used movies, books and games as heavy points of reference (in which making sure they are time accurate).
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the outcome. This project has been very informative, and we were given a great amount of time to gather inspiration and sources for the next module.
Thank you.
